Morning: Sharing the True Kingdom of God
Being a church planter strategist in the Salt Lake Valley in Utah has many challenges. The area is home to 1.7 million people, and only three percent have a relationship with Jesus. ANDY and JOANNA ROBERSON eagerly embrace the challenges in a state that boasts the headquarters of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Many resources are needed to engage those living in Utah with the truth of who Jesus is and why He came. This week, take a moment to remember the Robersons in your prayers as they advance the true Kingdom of God. Pray for partnerships that will encourage the work. Ezra 1:5-6 Then the family heads of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and Levites—everyone whose heart God had moved—prepared to go up and build the house of the LORD in Jerusalem. 6 All their neighbors assisted them with articles of silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with valuable gifts, in addition to all the freewill offerings.  

Evening: Spreading the Word Across Brazil
As strategy coordinators for the interior of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil, STEVE and MICHELLE RIDDLE research the most effective means to reach the Gaucho people for Christ. Last year, Steve and Michelle traveled to more than 20 locations meeting with leaders to find locations for new work, to prepare people for ministry, encourage the multiplication of churches, and train many in the work of evangelism. Hundreds of Bibles have been distributed, and new Bible studies have sprung up, resulting in many new believers. Your commitment to reaching people through the Cooperative Program is spreading the Word of God across Brazil. Pray for the Riddles and for new believers to have a burden to reach out to their lost neighbors. South America is the focus region for the 2008 Lottie Moon offering theme “GO TELL the story of Jesus.” STATEMENT: It has always been true of God’s people: When God reveals a need, His people give willingly. Giving a tithe is appropriate; many of us can give even more as God leads.
